Assessments
We evaluate processes, capability, capacity, sentiments, and receptivity within organizations. Our assessments are like health checkups that:
- Describe an organization’s current diversity, equity, and inclusion efforts and outcomes
- Determine whether the current diversity, equity, and inclusion efforts and outcomes match intentions
- Identify the challenges and bottlenecks that affect equitable and inclusive service access and outcomes
- Inform an action plan to help the organization identify and operationalize measurable diversity, equity, and inclusion goals
Strategic Planning
We collaborate with our clients to develop strategic action plans that leverage the opportunities of their unique situations and identify and operationalize measurable diversity, equity, and inclusion goals. We use classic tools and methods tailored to best fit our client’s needs starting with a situation analysis and ending with an action plan sensitive to the skill, will, and capacity within the organization and integrates operations and strategies that impact the workplace, workforce, marketplace, and community.
Research
Our approach to research systematically addresses the 8Ps of change (People, Perception, Philosophy, Politics, Policy, Procedure, Process, and Priority) to:
- Inspire research questions
- Inform methodology
- Interpret findings
- Identify inequities
- Improve the organization’s business model and programs with recommendations and an action plan that moves the needle on inequitiesWe use qualitative and quantitative research methods to gain insights about the who, what, when, where, and how – all in pursuit of maximizing the power of diversity, equity, and inclusion in the work our clients do. Our research typically includes data collection, document reviews, process audits, surveys, interviews, and focus groups.
Training
We offer dynamic, In-person, distance, and hybrid trainings that harness the power of diversity, equity, and inclusion. Our trainings:
- Build and improve skill, will, and capacity within the organization
- Establish a common language and shared definitions
- Promote alignment between organizational and individual goals
- Help employees meet requirements for their role in the organization
- Prepare employees for higher responsibility
- Show employees they are valued
Mentoring
We offer mentoring, coaching, and counseling to individuals and groups in support of their diversity, equity, and inclusion goals. We view mentoring as part of coaching and coaching as a part of counseling. Specifically:
- Mentoring looks at the future and at potential
- Coaching is skill based and looks at the present and how to improve for the future
- Counseling looks at the past and how to improve for the future
